NOLA.com and The Times-Picayune are looking for the Top Workplace in the Greater New Orleans area. We are promoting this campaign through our various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook and LinkedIn, in efforts to generate more unique traffic to the Top Workplaces survey on NOLA.com’s website.
We have partnered with Workplace Dynamic, LLC, which is a national research firm. They conduct employee surveys for other markets, as well as for individual companies. The results they receive provide rich data for business leaders to help them create work environments in which their employees feel motivated to work.
The Top Workplaces Greater New Orleans campaign began on October 10th and was only set to run through the end of November; however, we extended the deadline because we kept receiving more and more highly qualified submissions. The campaign will now run for a longer period of time, and submissions will be accepted through January 23, 2015. We are very much looking forward to learning about all the companies in the area that our readers work for and/or otherwise admire.
For a company to qualify for nomination, it must have at least 35 full time employees in any one of these Parishes in and around GNO:
- St. Bernard
- St. Tammany
- St. Charles
- St. John the Baptist
We encourage our readers to nominate any and all types of companies — online agencies, tech start-ups, non-profic organizations, publicly traded companies, hospitals, government contractors, grocery stores, and even family farms.
Head over to NOLA.com/topworkplaces to nominate your company today!
Rules of the game:
- Every nominated organization will be contacted by Workplace Dynamics to confirm its participation
- Participating companies’ employees will receive a comprehensive workplace satisfaction survey
- Results of the survey will then be collected and tabulated by Workplace Dynamics
- Companies with the highest scores in 3 categories (based on staff size) will be recognized on NOLA.com and receive a special featured section in The Times-Picayune. Finally, they will be honored at a special event in May 2015.
Good luck to all companies! Let the games begin.
